To estimate the impacts of your additional Community Solar subscription to your monthly bill, you can refer to your Georgia Power bill or online account to view your last month's energy (kWh) usage. The additional Community Solar subscription charge is in addition to your electric service bill. Each 1 kW block is estimated to produce between 115 - 215 kWh per month, or a monthly estimated average of 165 kWh, which will offset your total monthly energy (kWh) usage. Note that your subscribed portion of output from the Community Solar Facilities supplying the program will fluctuate each month depending on energy (kWh) production and your subscription level (number of blocks).
Note: The Community Solar Program is for residential customers on the standard residential service rate (R) only, and small business customers on the general service rate (GS) only. Subscriptions will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Due to limited availability, enrollment does not guarantee your participation and acceptance into the program will be subject to verification by Georgia Power. You will be notified of program enrollment prior to your first Community Solar billing. If enrollment requests exceed availability, you will automatically be added to a waiting list.
